Getting back out - Experiences for the summer.
We have all being experiencing a challenging few months, and we’ve missed our regular clients and visit from Farm Clubs and many others over Easter and half term especially. However, we haven’t been sitting on our hands whilst being staying at home.
Some of you have joined us for our virtual Farm Clubs, which I hope you have both learnt from and enjoyed, its not quite the same as being on the farm, but its a close second!! We even managed to witness a real live alpaca birth in May, which was really exciting and I am pleased to say that both mum (Lauren) and cria are doing well, and we have 3 more since then.
We have given much thought as to whether we can host Farm Clubs in the usual manner this summer, but have decided that in the current circumstances we must be cautious about mixed households, and be aware of the health and safety of both visitors and staff.
However, all is not lost and we have decided to launch three initiatives which we hope will provide opportunities for families and friends to visit us, enjoy nature, learn about the farm, and meet our animals and especially the alpacas, they’ve missed their walks.
So we have decided to launch our exclusive Alpaca Treks and Meet the Farmer sessions. Available to groups of up to 6 people, adults and children of any ages (sorry we can’t host under 5’s) are very welcome in any group mix, and being outdoors we can keep our distance, and provide a safe and welcoming environment.
Given the success of our Virtual Farm Clubs we have also decided to continue these on a subscription basis, each month we will hold 4 sessions (£2.50 per session is all it costs) of 30-40 minutes experiencing the comings and goings around the farm, all you need is an email address and internet connection we will do the rest.
So why not take a look at whats on offer, sign up for whatever you want to experience on the farm and come along to learn, have fun and get all the health and well-being benefits of being outdoors.
