Providing person centred nature-based activities to support people who experience challenges in their everyday life such as mental health issues, autism or social isolation
Here at Hall Farm Eastoft, our Care Farm specialises in providing person centred nature based activities to both adults and children requiring extra support. They will have the ability to gain vital skills, socialise, and keep healthy and active, all in an open, safe, green environment.
Care Farming at Hall Farm Eastoft
We provide health, social or specialist educational care services for individuals from one or a range of vulnerable groups.
What we deliver
All our sessions are structured to support individuals or groups and are based around practical activities in the care farm and working farm environment.
We have an extensive and expanding kitchen garden, an orchard, a chicken and bantam flock; a small alpaca herd and 2 bee hives; everyone can get involved in every aspect of managing this.
In addition to our food and farming activities everyone can engage in creative activities such as needle felting and environmental projects, for example enhancing wild life habitats and improving the natural environment; all our activities are aimed at increasing understanding and awareness of food production, farming and the natural environment.
We work closely with groups, families and individuals to ensure that all activities are structured to boost confidence and boost self-esteem, improve well-being and physical health, as well as develop skills and knowledge.
